WY: Cody woman pays fine for hunting trespassing

Jessie Hodges was out hunting and wound up killing an elk on private land.
She was cited by the Wyoming Game and Fish for the violation and appeared in Circuit Court of Park County on Friday.

Hodges told the court “I was out hunting with a friend and we didn’t know we were on private land.”

Hodges entered guilty plea and was fined a total of $420.
