WY: 4 plead guilty to moose poaching near Hudson

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wildlife officials say four people accused of poaching moose near Hudson have pleaded guilty to several misdemeanors.

KCWY-TV reports 73-year-old Phillip Hurtado and 31-year-old Phillip Warren , both of Arapahoe, and 30-year-old Sammy Edlund and 28-year-old Danielle Najera , both of Gillette, appeared in Riverton Circuit Court on Friday.

They were accused of poaching two bull and two cow moose Oct. 15.

The four each pleaded guilty to taking a game animal in a closed season, wanton destruction of a big game animal, as well as trespassing.
