A man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries following a hunting accident in Lincoln County yesterday.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the 70 year old man fell from a tree stand in a wooded area off of Armstrong Creek Road near Tomahawk. The emergency call came in at just after 5:30 last night.

The man was able to yell for help from a fellow hunter. Officials estimate the man fell 20 feet.

Tomahawk EMS and Fire were able to remove the man from the woods with an ATV. The man was then airlifted to Ministry Saint Josephs for further treatment.
