WAUWATOSA — The Department of Natural Resources says it plans to issue formal charges to a man who allegedly poached a well-known deer named “Bow Tie,” in a Wauwatosa park.
Jim Bagley, a hunter himself, called 911 after he saw the poacher shoot Bow Tie.
“I saw a blood trail right on the ground, I knew this man was a poacher on county land. I know there’s no hunting here. It’s real obvious to a lot of people there is no hunting here,” said Bagley.
Jason Elliott is expected to be charged by Tuesday, with a series of violations for hunting a deer in a Milwaukee County park.
