PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI — Authorities say a window was shot out in rural Prairie du Chien over the weekend when a hunter’s bullet when through a deer and hit a nearby, occupied house.
Terry L. Tesar, 54, was hunting nearby when he shot a deer, authorities reported. But the bullet traveled through the animal and struck the window, which was about 140 yards away.
“Tesar faces possible trespassing tickets, and the incident remains under investigation,” according to a press release issued today.
