The Mason County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search & rescue mission for a missing hunter, but found him deceased the next day.
On Monday, 10/21/13, Owen Vrooman was dropped off by a friend in the Mason Lake area in order to hunt. Owen was supposed to meet up with a friend in the Deer Creek area around 6:30 PM, but Owen never showed up.
Today, 10/22/13, around 9:45 AM Owen Vrooman was found deceased
