DINWIDDIE, VA – A ten-year-old boy is recovering, after getting hit by shotgun pellets in a hunting accident Monday afternoon.

The boy was dove hunting with his family on Courthouse Road, just north of McKenny Highway, in Dinwiddie. A gun fired and shotgun pellets somehow struck the boy’s chest and shoulder. His injuries aren’t deadly.
