LOGAN — A 60-year-old Paradise man was taken to the hospital after being accidentally shot Saturday morning, leading a group of pheasant hunters.

Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Peterson said deputies received a report of a gunshot victim at the Sportsman’s Paradise at White’s Ranch, 750 West 8700 South, Paradise.

Craig Binghamwas standing on a small hill, 80-yards in front of the group when a number of pheasants were flushed from cover. As the birds took off, the hunters began firing their rifles in different directions.

Bingham was struck by at least three pellets. He was hit in the left eye, hand and thigh.
