SPRINGVILLE — Police are looking for a man they believe was hunting in city limits and shot a man who was working.
Three men were in a parking lot near 1086 N. 450 West on Saturday — opening day for pheasant hunting in Utah — when they heard a gunshot shortly before 2 p.m, Springville Police Lt. David Caron said.
A 37-year-old man was hit in the side of the neck by the shotgun blast, wounding him.
“We ran that way as soon as we found out and scoured the area pretty good, but never found any trace of the man who was out there hunting illegally,” Caron said.
