A Houston County man was found dead Sunday after falling into the Neches River the day before.
According to the Houston County Sheriff’s’s Office, Jimmy Berry, 45, of eastern Houston County, disappeared while hunting hogs.
At 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, officials launched the boats near Anderson Crossing and navigated up river. His body was recovered at 12:45 p.m.
