GROESBECK, Texas — A driver arrested following a chase that left two Texas game wardens hurt has been sentenced to 50 years in prison in a road hunting and assault case.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on Saturday announced the penalty for Teddy Wayne Davenport in last October’s incident.

Davenport received 50 years on each assault count, plus 10 years for each of the other counts. The prison terms will be served concurrently.
