Clay Center Police arrested Juan M. Montiel, 27, on Tuesday, Jan. 3, for seven illegal hunting charges, including hunting deer from a vehicle, hunting with an artificial light, hunting without taking the required safety course, hunting without a tag, two counts of hunting without a license, shooting dear outside the legal hours and taking deer in closed season.
Montiel was processed and released.
The Sheriff’s Department arrested Benjamin A. Dockins, 23, on Tuesday, Jan.
3, for hunting without a license and taking non-game species. Dockins was also processed and released.
