TN: MAN KILLED IN MORGAN COUNTY HUNTING ACCIDENT

A Knox County man died late Friday after a hunting accident in the Catoosa Wildlife Management area in Morgan County. Deputies and medics had to use 4-wheelers to get to the remote area where 38-year-old Jeffrey Dean of Knoxville was at. Dean suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the upper torso. Authorities said Dean was hunting with several family members and was mistaken for a deer. Investigators ruled the fatal shooting an accident and no charges will be filed.
