Orangeburg attorney Charles Williams will pay a $75,000 fine for killing hawks on his property. Williams was also sentenced to one year of probation and community service work at a birds of prey center. He cannot hunt wildlife nationally or internationally for one year.

Williams, Jimmie Aiken and John Dantzler all pleaded guilty on Monday.

Williams faced seven misdemeanor counts of violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act for trapping and killing hawks without a permit.

The others faced one count each. They were each sentenced to a year of probation, a one-year hunting ban and a $1,000 fine.
