MILL HALL, CLINTON COUNTY — A Mill Hall teen was severely injured during a bear attack while deer hunting in Porter Township on Monday afternoon.

Camille Marie Bomboy, 18, was hunting deer on her family farm with a large hunting party. She was part of the “driving” team on a deer hunt when three black bear cubs ran past her, police said. When she turned around, a large black bear was charging her.

The bear knocked her to the ground, biting her arms, shoulders and head, police said.

Bomboy suffered deep tissue bites on her arms and shoulders and a deep laceration on her head, police said.
