PORTLAND — A Redmond High senior continues to recover at Legacy Emanuel Hospital from a severe electrical shock he suffered after holding an irrigation pipe that touched a power line.
Kyle Reed was hunting for small animals Sunday with friends near Culver. He spotted one below the irrigation pipes and raised one over his head.
The shock after it touched the power line stopped his heart for several minutes. Friends gave him CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Kyle remained in critical condition Tuesday. Doctors had placed him in an induced coma.
