HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio —

An Ohio man is hospitalized in serious condition after a hunting incident in which he suffered a gunshot wound early Monday in Harrison County.

Officials at the scene said a 64-year-old man from Kent suffered the wound while hunting for wild turkey.

It was not clear if the man shot himself or was shot by someone else.

An emergency call came in around 9:20 a.m. to respond to a wooded area behind New Rumley Road just outside of Jewett.
