NY: UPDATE: STATE POLICE IDENTIFY MAN KILLED IN HUNTING ACCIDENT

UPDATE- State Police have identified the man killed in a hunting accident on Sunday.

Police say Joshua R. Morgan, 20, from Newport was part of a hunting party who was in a wooded area north of Route 5S in Frankfort Center.

They say he was shot and killed by another member of the hunting party.

The investigation is ongoing.

Frankfort, N.Y. – State Police say that one person has died following a hunting incident in Frankfort.

State Police are investigating what they are calling a hunting incident in Frankfort.

It happened in a wooded area off of Route 5S near Dyke Road around 8:45 Sunday morning.

The name of the victim has not been released.
