Michael J. Deangelis, 44, was arrested Nov. 13 after trespassing on private property and shooting a deer.
NYS ENCON Police charged Deangelis with the misdemeanors of: discharging a rifle within 500’ of a dwelling; taking a doe without a permit, taking a deer with the aid of a motor vehicle; failure to wear back tag while big game hunting; illegally taking / killing a deer; hunting big game during closed hours; and failure to complete tag when taking a female deer.
Saugerties police charged Deangelis with the misdemeanor of reckless endangerment in the second degree, and the violation of trespassing.
