A hunter in Genesee County has been rescued by emergency crews after he had become trapped in water up to his waist while roaming the backwoods of the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Sunday afternoon.
He was taken to a staging area by helicopter and was being treated for symptoms of hypothermia.
