WESTTOWN — Joseph Purta, 76, was hunting for deer in the woods off Minisink Turnpike at about 2:25 p.m. when the blind caught fire.
Purta suffered third-degree burns and was taken to Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pa., where he was listed in serious condition.
