A state Department of Environmental Conservation officer busted a man who had posted photos of himself with turkeys he shot during the May hunting season. The man posted a photo on Facebook of one turkey on opening day and then another photo of two turkeys he took on Mother’s Day.
The problem here is that hunters are only allowed to take two total turkeys through the season, and never more than one on any given day.
Officer Buffa issued the man four tickets, including taking over the season limit and over the daily limit of turkeys.
