ARKWRIGHT – Joseph McAndrews, 33, was shot in the left leg by a fellow deer hunter Saturday morning off Meadows Road in the Town of Arkwright.
McAndrews was released from Erie County Medical Center after treatment.
The incident occurred when a 17-year-old hunter fired a 12-gauge shotgun at a doe and hit McAndrews instead.
