ELKO, Nevada — A 53-year-old Las Vegas man who admitted shooting an antelope without a legal tag has been sentenced to three years’ probation and banned from hunting or trapping in Nevada for two years.
Miguel Arias-Montalvo initially was sentenced last week to a year in jail but the sentence was suspended pending completion of the probation as part of an agreement to plead guilty to killing or possessing certain animals without a valid tag.
