Scotland County, N.C. (WPDE) — A man was airlifted to a hospital just before 9 a.m. Monday after he accidentally shot himself in the foot while hunting in the old hundred area off of West Laurel Hill Road in Scotland County, according to Capt. Earl Haywood with the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office.
Haywood said the man’s injury isn’t life threatening.
The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
