A hunter has been accused of shooting at two other hunters who were encroaching on his location near Bigfork.

Brad Bell was charged with felony criminal endangerment in Flathead County District Court.

According to court documents, two duck hunters were floating up the Flathead River by boat near Fennon Slough when they passed near another hunter’s decoys. The hunter, later identified as Bell, yelled at them and then a few moments later fired his shotgun at the boat. The two hunters in the boat reported being struck with shotgun pellets.

If convicted, Bell could face up to 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
