A Madison County couple was sentenced after they were caught with several animals that they had illegally killed.

Daniel Bennett was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, lost all his hunting, fishing and trapping privileges for 10 years and was fined $2,100, plus restitution of $2,400 for unlawful possession of a game animal, three counts of trapping without a license, four counts of violating FWP Commission rules, hunting without a license, trapping during a closed season and obstructing a peace officer.

Jennifer Bennett was sentenced to 10 days in jail (which may be served under house arrest) and lost all of her hunting, fishing and trapping privileges for four years for unlawful possession of a game animal (antelope buck), unlawful possession of furbearing animals and obstructing a peace officer.
