MN: Hunter, 54, Shot While Bird Hunting

On Oct. 5 at around 11:35 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of a gunshot injury from the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.

Steven Grimm, 54, was hunting at the Golden Meadows Hunting Preserve when he was shot. He was with a hunting party with seven other people walking in a line when a bird was flushed up. Several hunters fired at the bird and Grim was struck by pellets in the upper torso and head.
