Here are highlights from Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer (CO) reports for the week ending Dec. 14, 2015. The complete report is available online.

CO Ben Huener (Roseau) assisted with a search warrant regarding multiple deer hunting violations. Enforcement action will be taken against a muzzleloader hunter who was hunting deer with the aid of bait, hunting from a permanent deer stand on a Wildlife Management Area and operating an ATV on a WMA.

Two individuals were cited by CO Jeremy Woinarowicz for taking deer over bait in a small community in the Thief River Falls area, after a complaint by another community member.

A report of a dead wolf on a WMA near Twin Valley was investigated by CO Bill Landmark. The wolf was found to have been shot. If you have any information on this incident, call the TIP line at (800 652-9093.

In the Wadena area, CO Greg Oldakowski handled a case of deer overlimit where a hunter had shot two bucks.
