LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Two Michigan hunters have been jailed and fined for exceeding the limit on redhead ducks.
22-year-old Travis Vennix and 22-year-old Timothy Diehl admitted shooting 20 of the ducks last month in Arenac County.
Vennix and Diehl were sentenced last week to five days in jail and ordered to pay $4,000 each in restitution to the Game and Fish Protection Fund and $625 each in fines and court costs.
