Four men and a juvenile have been charged with illegal waterfowl hunting on Gibson Island in Anne Arundel County by the Maryland Natural Resources Police.

Bryan Webb, David Butler, John Tracey, and Charles Vieth were issued citations for hunting waterfowl over a baited area. Tracey also was issued a citation for hunting with an unplugged shotgun. A juvenile was issued a warning for hunting over a baited area. The last citation in the case was written last Friday.

Hunting over bait carries a pre-payable fine of $500. Hunting with an unplugged shotgun carries a pre-payable fine of $250.
