BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — State wildlife agents have cited a Coushatta man for alleged deer hunting violations in Red River Parish.
31-year-old Russell L. Long Jr. was cited for hunting deer during illegal hours with artificial light, hunting from a moving vehicle, hunting without basic licenses, failing to comply with deer tagging requirements and discharging a firearm from a public road.
If convicted, sentences range from 15 to 120 days in jail and fines from $50 to $950.
