BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — A Destrehan man has been cited for allegedly hunting ducks in Jefferson Parish during illegal hours.
The state Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says its agents issued the citation to 56-year-old Frank Abbate Jr. on Jan. 1.
The department says Abbate was cited for the same offense in 2005. A second offense is punishable by a fine of up to $999 and 180 days in jail.
