BATON ROUGE – Five north Louisiana residents have been cited for alleged hunting violations in Caddo and Bossier parishes.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents cited Daniel Owens, Tristen Owens, Ethan Mikesell, and Devynn England for taking over the legal limit of ducks and wanton waste in Caddo Parish on Nov. 15. Tristen Owens also was cited for intentionally destroying, concealing or disposing of wildlife or fish evidence.

Agents saw the hunters shooting ducks without making an effort to retrieve several dead or crippled birds.

Agents also cited Daniel M. Currie for allegedly obtaining a hunting license by fraud and hunting without non-resident licenses in Bossier Parish.
