A 50-year-old deer hunter suffered serious injuries Saturday morning after falling from a tree stand in West Lafayette.
Department of Natural Resources Cpl. Blaine R. Gillan said John P. Chadwell was hunting near 500 North and Morehouse Road when his stand collapsed under his weight.
