(WOODBURN) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a hunting incident that occurred on Sunday at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Amanda M. Wetli, 21, of Albion was hunting for deer when while attempting to climb into a ladder tree stand, she dropped the single shot 16 gauge shotgun that she was carrying. Wetli was shot in the left arm when she attempted to catch the falling firearm.
Her condition is not available at this time.
