PIKE CO. – Andrew Schuler, 53, was deer hunting Sunday when he fell approximately sixteen feet from a tree stand. A hunting partner heard him call for help and found him lying on the ground.
Se suffered wrist, ankle, head and facial injuries.
Schuler believes he briefly passed out while sitting in the stand causing him to his lose his balance. He was not wearing a safety harness at the time.
