IN: Hunter Injured When Gun Discharges

(CAMBY) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a hunting incident that occurred Saturday evening near the town of Camby.

Douglas Owens, 51, was descending from the tree stand when he lost control of his firearm and it began to fall from the stand. During the fall, the firearm struck something causing it to discharge, striking him in the left hand.
