Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a tree stand accident that happened Wednesday morning in South Eastern Spencer County.

Emergency Responders located 35-year-old Brian Meunier lying at the base of his tree stand complaining of back pain. Meunier was standing on the top step turning around to sit in his stand and slipped and fell approximately 11 feet to the ground.

Meunier was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital where he was conscious, alert and in stable condition.
