SHANNONDALE, Ind. – A hunter from Lebanon is in stable condition after falling 22 feet from a tree stand, conservation officers said.
Samuel Shepherd, 64, was found at the base of a tree stand in severe pain late Saturday afternoon near Shannondale.
It’s believed Shepherd lost his grip and fell as he tried to climb down from the tree stand, conservation officers said.
Shepherd was last listed in critical condition with internal injuries and broken bones.
