A 29-year-old man has been charged for allegedly killing two Canada geese goslings on May 23 by hitting them with a stick in Princeton, according to Illinois Conservation Police.

Daniel T. Sluis was charged with two counts of taking Canada geese during the closed hunting season, two counts of using unlawful methods of taking geese, one count of hunting without a hunting license, one count of fishing without a fishing license and a civil penalty for the value of the geese, according to the report.
