FAIRFIELD, Iowa —Iowa Department of Natural Resources officials said 15 people have been charged in an investigation focusing on a hunting outfitter.

Officials said Brenton Clark and his wife, Rachael, are owners of Southeast Iowa Outfitters in Fairfield.

Brenton Clark, 34, faces four counts of unlawful commercialization of wildlife, five counts of possessing other peoples’ deer tags, four counts of unlawful possession and transportation of buck deer and unlawfully hunting of a deer with a mobile radio.

Rachael Clark, 34, has been charged with three counts of possessing the deer tag of another person.

In addition to the criminal charges the DNR is seeking damages in the amount of $120,000 against Brenton Clark for deer that were illegally taken at Southeast Iowa Outfitters in 2012 and 2013.

OTHERS CHARGED IN THE CASE:

— James K. Moulierre, 47, was charged with not having a non-resident any sex deer tag and unlawful transportation of a buck deer.

— Thomas E. Bromell, 46, was charged with possession of a deer tag of another person and unlawful possession and transportation of a buck deer.

— David A. Neff, 67, pleaded guilty to providing a deer tag to another person. Fine and court cost of $195.

— James R. Deornellas, 76, Russell W. Deornellas, 53, and Sheri B. Neff, 69, pleaded guilty to providing a deer tag to another person and failure to report deer harvest. Fine and court cost of $390 each.

— Jerry L. Hemm, 40, and Mark W. Kraft, 53, both pleaded guilty to providing a deer tag to another person and failure to report deer harvest.
Fines and court cost of $390 each.

— Dallon E. Buchanan, 41, pleaded guilty to failure to report deer harvest.
Fine and court cost of $195.

— Louie O. Justus, 40, Benjamin M. King, 26, and George W. Uithoven, 44, pleaded guilty to unlawful transportation of a buck deer and not having a non-resident any sex deer tag. Fine and court cost of $849 each.

— Jack Conner, 62, pleaded guilty to unlawful transportation of a buck deer and failure to report deer harvest. Fine and court cost of $390.
