DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — State officials say 37-year-old Charles T. Nolte shot himself in the kneecap while hunting in central Iowa.
Nolte’s shotgun discharged while he was putting on his gloves. He was hunting in an area southwest of Melcher-Dallas, in Marion County.
