A 20-year-old man was shot by a 22 in the side of the chest in a wooded trail in the Village of Kronenwetter.
Deputy Chief John Lauer with the Rib Mountain Fire Department says the man was likely hunting when he got shot, however it’s unclear at this time what happened.
