VIRGINIA BEACH – Animal Control officers are looking for whoever shot a wild eastern cottontail rabbit with an arrow in the 1100 block of Selwood Drive off Providence Road.
A resident reported a rabbit with an arrow protruding from its body. It was alive, but later was euthanized because of its injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text VBTIP and the information to CRIMES (274637). Callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward if their information leads to an arrest.
