One flown to hospital after hunting accident in Wise County | WJHL | Tri-Cities News & Weather

The Appalachia Fire Department Company 3 said on social media that a patient was air-lifted to the hospital on Thursday morning after a hunting accident.
The department said an accidental shooting happened in the Exeter community.
The Wise County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) located the victim, who was then extricated from the scene and taken to a local trauma center via helicopter.
Lee County’s Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources also responded to the scene, according to the fire department.
