TX: Teen injured in hunting incident was shot in stomach

SAN ANGELO, Texas — McCall Miller was struck in the abdomen by an accidental discharge from a .22 rifle while hunting about 7:45 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Irion County Sheriff’s Office.

McCall, 18, was with several young men on a ranch in Irion County hunting when the incident happened, the release states.

The Sheriff’s office received a call from one of the friends indicating McCall was shot in the stomach and they were taking him to the emergency room at Shannon Medical Center, the release states.
