A father who went hunting from Erzurum to Kars accidentally shot his 16-year-old son while hunting ducks. The young man, who was seriously injured in the incident, died in the hospital. The father has been taken into custody.

A father duck hunting in Kars from Erzurum accidentally shot his son. Father Muzaffer K was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams, and his weapon was confiscated.

A disaster occurred in Erzurum. Five people who came from Oltu district to Selim district of Kars started duck hunting near Tozluca village.

ACCIDENTALLY SHOT HIS SON

While duck hunting here, father Muzaffer K, (53) accidentally shot his 16-year-old son Muhammet Ali K. Muhammet Ali K, who was injured in the chest, was taken to Selim State Hospital by the medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification. Despite all the interventions made here, Muhammet Ali K could not be saved.

TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Father Muzaffer K was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams, and his weapon was also confiscated. The body of Muhammet Ali K was taken to the morgue of Harakani State Hospital for autopsy.
