Fundraiser for Hannah Pamplico coach
In December 2008, football coach Kirk Mays with Hannah Pamplico High School was left paralyzed in a hunting accident.
Mays fell from a deer stand and is now confined to a wheelchair.
On Thursday, Cooks for Christ will sell chicken bog plates to help with with Coach Mays’ medical expenses.
The fundraiser is set for 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at West Florence Fire Department at 3379 Pine Needles Road.
