Bear hunter Michael Wishard, 38, of Hunker, apparently lost his way in the woods in Wharton Township, Fayette County on Saturday. He was found dehydrated and exhausted in the area of Shepherd and Brethren Summit roads, police said.
He was transported to Uniontown Hospital for evaluation as a precaution, police said.
